Job Title Banquet Bartender (Multiple Positions: Temporary)
Job Description

The Morris Inn at the University of Notre Dame is seeking banquet bartenders to set up banquet bars per direction of the Banquet Event Form.
Serves liquor, wine, beer, soda, juice and mixed drinks to customers.
Maintains a clean work area.
Accepts payment for customers’ orders when needed.
Maintains cash bar and daily inventory related paperwork.
Maintains inventory controls.
Breaks down bar and stores supplies at end of the function.
Implements and maintains all Indiana Excise policies and procedures including having obtained a Liquor License.
Maintains close communication and works cooperatively with management and co-workers to ensure consistency of services and the highest quality of operation.
Reports for duty in designated uniform and maintains its upkeep.
Other duties which may be assigned by supervisor or banquet manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Display a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when greeting and providing assistance to guests of the hotel and conference center following the AAA 4 diamond guidelines and standards of the Morris Inn. Must have ability to bend, walk and be on feet for extended period of time. Must be able to be flexible and adjust to building and guest needs. Previous bartending skills preferred. Must have exceptional math skills and ability to handle difficult customers.
