|Job Title||Administrative Assistant -Notre Dame Conference Center (Temporary)|
Welcome and provide assistance to guests of the Notre Dame Conference Center. Answer phones, take messages and attend to other Information Desk responsibilities. Open and close McKenna Hall and maintain building security when conferences are in session. Assist Director and staff in various clerical and general office duties, including on campus errands. Provide support to guests over the phone with online registration questions. Provide technical assistance to guests for audiovisual equipment. Assemble event confirmation folders for event specialist, update room signage to reflect daily use, create daily event sheets. Distribute time sensitive documents to members of the Morris Inn and Conference Center staff. Assist with tracking and management of group room blocks. Enter updates and edits to event information documents as required. Make copies, fax information, and ship packages for customers. Assist Event Registration Coordinators in larger conference registrations. Assemble conference materials such as name tags, folders, tent cards, and mailings. Reach out to clients to confirm details for upcoming events. Handle additional special projects for Director and staff.
Candidate must be able to multitask working in a fast paced environment. A preferred candidate would be detail oriented, reliable and punctual and be able to work nights and weekends.
