Job Title Research Technician
Job Description

General laboratory administration and technical support (supervised).
Responsibilities include maintaining lab stocks, lab documents, protocols, oversee equipment use and repair, and general lab maintenance.

Lab administration entails ordering, maintaining supply stocks, maintaining lab documents for equipment use, etc., general assisting the PI in lab related maintenance of BSL2 and BSL3 facilities.
Technical support that will be supervised by the PI or senior lab member. Molecular, biochemical and cell biological approaches including gels for DNA and protein, protein expression and purification, cell culture, and digitized fluorescence microscopy. Animal handling and tissue extraction for analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in molecular/cell biology lab preferred. Basic computation skills a plus.
