Job Title Police Officer (Temporary/On Call)
Job Description

Provide general security and police services along with a variety of other related services. Responsible for the prevention and detection of criminal activity and violations of rules at the University. Conduct investigations of crimes and violations of University rules to maintain safety and security of campus.

This is an on-call position.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of Indiana Law Enforcement Academy or its equivalent. Current certification and 3 years experience as a police officer is required. Valid driver’s license required. Superior interpersonal communication skills, proficiency in security and law enforcement skills, and proficiency in the use of personal computer for office and reporting functions are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

College graduate and experience at a larger campus law enforcement agency serving a residential university community located in a metropolitan area is preferred.
